Act Statement

Emerald Interserv Limited (Company No. 16630723) is a CQC-registered provider of insourced clinical services to NHS Trusts across England. We deliver regulated activities through vetted, qualified clinical professionals, operating from NHS hospital premises under formal hosting arrangements.

We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing effective systems and controls to safeguard against slavery and human trafficking. We have a zero-tolerance approach to any form of modern slavery within our organisation and our supply chains.

As part of our recruitment and supplier engagement processes, we undertake due diligence to identify and mitigate the risk of modern slavery. This includes:

• Robust recruitment practices, including verification of identity, right to work, and professional registration for all clinicians and staff.
• A five-point staff compliance standard covering identity, right to work, qualifications, references, and occupational health clearance.
• Contractual requirements that require suppliers and partners to comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and to uphold ethical labour practices.
• Clear escalation routes for staff or partners to raise concerns about unethical or exploitative practices.

Our supply chains are primarily focused on clinical staffing, medical equipment, and professional services. We assess these relationships for ethical and compliance risks and expect our suppliers to share our commitment to eradicating modern slavery.

We provide guidance to those responsible for recruitment, procurement, and clinical governance so that they understand the signs of modern slavery and the actions to take if a concern is identified. Awareness forms part of our wider safeguarding and compliance culture.
